Amazing - I recommend it to everyone!
I was searching for solar batteries and am so glad I did my research and found Voltaic gear before purchasing the 3-star rated batteries from REI! Just as others have said - I go backpacking with my camera gear wanting to make sure I always have all my stuff charged up and won't have the equipment crash halfway through. Post reading all the reviews on this site - I was sold! Not only is the customer service available (these guys very quickly and efficiently answered a few questions for me) but the battery is very well built! Some of my friends have commented on the fact that it is heavier than some of theirs - but the joke was on them when theirs stopped working halfway through the trip and I had to use mine to charge up all of our devices :) Rave about it to everyone I know!

Perfect addition to my legacy Array backpack
I have owned voltaic systems products for years. The original array backpack with the V60 battey kept up very well until the V60 finally died. So I take a look at current offerings and see the Arc 20 with V88 battery. Quick research and I can connect my array to this system to have 30 watts peak. Setup a test on a picnic table. Works wonderfully. When on the go I keep the V88 connected the the array and the arc20 stays in the same back. Very easy to use. Thanks Voltaic.

Light, tough, portable
Fast delivery, good tech support, works as described. Remember, it is a little panel, needs “sun” to charge, not much use on a cloudy day

Best Solar Charging system "out There"...
I ordered the ARC 20 kit several weeks ago...It is ...without a doubt...the best made..the best solar charging system available . I am a partially disabled Viet Nam veteran and ease of set-up and operation are critical to me...The ARC 20 system DELIVERS..!!! I only wish I had gotten an extra battery pack with my order....I will never forget the kindness shown me by Voltaic Systems...per extending me a military discount and for creating such superlative solar charging products. Unbeatable for extended trips!
This is a must-pack piece of gear for me, for any extended backcountry trip. As a photographer it is very reassuring to know that you can have power anywhere you go! I never go without it! The weight to performance ratio is second to none! A+++!

Excellent product!
The solar panel by itself is incredible. It's been charging the V72 through glass on a cloudy day. The kit is going to Haiti as part of the relief effort following the hurricane. We expect excellent performance.

Don't leave home without it
The Arc 20 has been an invaluable piece of kit that has helped keep our equipment charged while working in the field for extended periods of time. We've traveled with the Arc 20 for several weeks while trekking through New Zealand and Tahiti and most recently on a month long cross country road trip. We’ve used it to recharge camera batteries, action cameras, laptops, phones, tablets and have even used it to power a 12 volt fan while camping in warmer weather. While on the road the solar panel lives on the dash of our van, ensuring our Voltaic battery is always topped off and ready to take with us. One of our favorite aspects of the solar panel and battery is it’s compact form and weight. The Arc 20 is very light weight and takes up so little room in our pack there’s no reason for us to travel without it. For us, having portable power is a must and although we’ve used other portable solar panel systems in the past, Voltaic has proven to not only be the most reliable but the slimmest and lightest weight on the market.
